A high concept comedy that just isn't funny at all. Jim Carrey plays a curmudgeon who after meeting a life coach played by Terrence Stamp decides to say "YES" to everything. Wacky situations follow and a relationship with quirky Zooey Deschanel. It's like Liar Liar but tired and rarely amusing. Terrence Stamp shines in a role that reminded me of his part in Bowfinger but he's not in the film enough to really have an impact.

Don't bother with Yes Man - it's just not funny.
